Argh! Ebay problem!

Got a graphics card up for auction that ends at around 10pm tonight but I've just discovered a serious problem.

Was getting the card packaged up when I noticed a tiny rectangular resistor from the PCB has fallen off! Managed to find the resistor.

I now want to cancel the auction and then but it back up as faulty as I don't want to sell the card as it is.

Had a quick look around my Ebay page and can't find anywhere where I can cancel the auction. Is it possible to do this?

Thats great to know but I don't want to sell the card to somebody only to find out that when they install it into their system its faulty and then have to deal with the hassle after.

Rather cancel the auction and put it up again as faulty.

If you can just change the discription etc to say it's faulty to save you hassle straight away.

Managed to add to the description explaining a fault.

My starting bid was quite high so if it if anyone fails to bid, will I still have to pay the Ebay listing fees?

Yes you will - but when editting the item you can change the starting bid if you think it's now too high to sell at.

Unable to lower the starting price but thats ok.

should be able to cancel from "my ebay" did it myself the other week when i advertised a used cd as new and sealed (it had a bid on but i just apologised to the chap)

Are you sure the resistor didn't come off in the post? You could claim the money off royal mail couldn't you?
