Argh, failed test

failed my practical today

12 minors, 3 on observation so a serious

was pulling onto a dual carriageway and pulled out too quick not checking blind spot enough

instructor thought i done well considering ive only had 10 hours of lessons

everything else was fine just the damn observation

c'mon guys say something to make me feel better

3 minors a serious??? i passed 2 months ago and was told by my instructor that they have done away with that now... apparently u can get 4 or 5 minors in one area...

wayz bad luk...

just book next one up asap and look towards that one...

I passed about an hour ago, but have two failures under my belt, too.

I was under the impression that you can have up to 3 minor in one category and its down to the examiner whether or not you get a serious.

When i did my test i deliberately looked everywhere all the time, checked all my mirrors about every 10 seconds, really over did all my head movements so that he knew i was looking.

Seemed to work, go nothing for observation

i was so nervous on my test that i was driving below the speed limit everywhere which gave me all the chances i needed to check the mirrors every 0.5s as required lol

i passed my first test with 2 minors.

the thing is, most drivers become less diligent once they pass their test, hence is scares me that on the actual test people can pass with so many minor faults. how do they expect the general public to be safe drivers if the test is so relaxed?

mrmatteh - i can see why he gave me a serious though, i would have done the same, i pulled out a bit too quickly onto the dual carriageway and didnt check the blind spot enough
