i have several video files on my hard drive and they play perfectly except for one thing the sub titles do not appear on bs player pro or vlc :(

they work perfect on zoom player but i would prefer them to work on bsplayer.

any one got any ideas? their .mkv files btw

and gspot doesn't give me any info about the codecs required :(

no there is one file for the video and the subs appear to be in the same .mkv file.

when i open a individual file eg ep2 in zoom player it works good with subs so i assume i have the codecs needed.

the problem happens when i try to use bsplayer (preferred player) or vlc player the video works perfect except i get no subtitles :(

edit: i even get the subs on my psp after converting a single file to mpg-4 :(

sorry for the double post but i think some one might get a laugh out of this :)

the files i want to work with subs have subs in the opening on bsplayer but losses subs as soon as the intro finishes :( lol

does any one have any idea why that is happening im about to go nuts as it is my preferred player :(

i be drunk :P

i may be drunk but bs player is annoying me right now with mkv files it is taunting me by shown sub titles on the intro of a program and then stopping them when the program gets past the intro :(

vlc is actually annoying me more.

the fan sub notes that usually appear at the top of the screen are appearing right behind the normal subs at the bottom....

bs player doesn't do that and they show fine in zoom player.. :(
