Don't panic!
A mate has just given me the news that him and the missus are getting married next tuesday - 14th Feb of all days lol. Anyways, I've not been to a wedding reception in years, 7yrs to be precise. What do I do!? What do I do!? :o

Not got a suit that fits, so I guess I need to bounce off towards Hugo Boss in Brent Cross since they'll have a good selection of suits there, but I'm so confused and muddled at how to prepare for something at such late notice! Help meh!!!

lol cheers for the er tips :p

Never even been to a reception before so I dunno what to expect. Only weddings I've been to are the asian ones that are so long, you actually age an entire year by the end of it. Anyone got gift ideas? :p

See above. Ask if they have a wedding list!!! Are you even reading the replies to your own thread? :p

Get yourself a real dapper morning suit from Moss Bros on a hire basis. Make sure you get the insurance, last time I hired one, I ripped the arse out of it doing some (alcohol induced) crazy moves on the dance floor.

Just enjoy it. The only time you can make a fool of yourself without (much) recrimination.

Surely morning suits are for the Ushers, father of the bride and whatnots.. I'd feel a right pleb in a morning suit if I hadn't been an usher at the wedding.

Depends what the dress code on the wedding invite says. On the occasion I "ripped the pants", dress code was "morning dress". Anyhow, I think it looks quite cool.
