Hey all,

This isn't exactly the same as my last thread, i've found more temps and i'm not sure what's what.

My motherboard is the ASRock 939DualSata2, and i'm using MBM5. (speedfan doesnt want to work)

The sensors on my motherboard are labeled Winbond1, Winbond2, Winbond3.

Now MBM5 doesn't have my motherboard profile, so i chose the only K8 profile that was there.

Does anybody know what these sensors point to? Or better still, a profile for this motherboard?

Or then again, i could use a different App that might tell me what the sensors are responsible for?

Thanks :)

I spose its worth a try :p

How fast do these stock fans spin? I dont wanna have 9 fingers and a red case.. :D

Ok, i stopped the fan.. and none of the temps went up

I did this for about 2 minutes and let it spin back up again, if the temps didnt go up then it probably means my CPU isnt being displayed :(

Nope, none. Theres no utilities on their website aswell.

Anyway, i think i've sorted it now, it's just the HDD seems a bit cold.. it's currently running cooler than ambient temp :p

Raikiri said that i should add +10c for some maxtors? Makes more sens that its running at 37c than 27c :)

Thats exactly what i used :) But i only used to to compare the temps to mbm5, then i identified each one.

I'm gonna stick to mbm5 because it seems minimalistic :)

benjo -did you ever suss out what WinBond 3 refers to? According to Everest it is aux. Whats this? My "aux" seems to be either 6 or 29 degrees  I normally just have it displaying my cpu & mobo but now I'm intrigued.
tbh I just set it up to use nf7-s settings as I heard that was the same as the Asrock as far as MBM5 is concerned.
