Hey dude, seems a long time ago since we played Rift!
Right now is the perfect time to get into WoW. New expansion which looks very promising, meaning that in about 3 weeks time you will be on a level playing field with everyone else once again. Lots going on in the game right now as well to help you gear up and keep occupied.
It's sad to say, but really nothing else is a good as WoW, and I have played almost every MMO in existence.
