I'll be installing this later... is it as good as it seems? :)

I got bored of Bioshock 2 and Just Cause 2 so thought I'd give it a go... :)

Cheers chaps, I have a 360 pad already. I really struggle to get on with it for anything other than MAME though - even GTA IV, I find more playable with KB/Mouse... :)

How many hours of gameplay is there in single player mode?

Well, it's installed \o/ I'm going to try 360 pad first and see how I get on with it. I get the feeling I'll prefer M+KB though. Cheers chaps! :p

Absolutely awesome so far... but how the hell do I save my game? GFWL is logged in as I see achievments, but I'm terrified of closing the game in case I lose progress... aaaargh!

EDIT: NVM, circle thingy seems to be autosave, duh.

EDIT2: 360 Pad makes this game awesome - rumble is great too! :D

Well I stayed up too late playing this... The Scarecrow bit was a bit mental! :p Xbox controller definitely helped there. Brilliant, a game that holds my attention for a change! Love the combat and sneaky stuff too!

Am I just weird or is that Harley Quinn outfit sexy as hell? They should do them in Ann Summers. :p

No mate, she looked very sexy. I felt quite sad when I thought along the same lines as you.

Glad you're enjoying your game. Much better then BioShock 2, you'll enjoy it even more when you get towards the end.... It gets 'really' good the more you progress.

Enjoy..!!

Aye, cheers... Bioshock 2 should have been so much more fun, especially with dual plasmids, but I got bored after about an hour of playing. I didn't like the idea of playing a Big Daddy, and I didn't like the protecting thing either :( Shame, as Bioshock 1 was one of my favourite games at the time.

The 360 controller tip was by far the best, I hated the idea at first because I'm so used to mouse look, but the pad is 2nd nature now (although I spent the first 20 mins deciding whether or not I wanted inverted look or not).

Really impressed with the attention to detail in this, especially damage to your suit. I usually avoid "film" or licenced product games as they tend to be carp, so glad I took a chance on this. Oh, triple Batarangs = win ;)

Well, I completed the story last night, and all I can say is WOW. I can't believe how amazing some of the bosses are in this game! Really enjoyed some of the big fights towards the end too... they should throw in bigger groups earlier on IMO, it really feels like proper superhero stuff that way (I played on Normal).

Sadly, it was only towards the end that I actually started getting the hang of combo timing, managing to hit 20-odds here and there. Problem is I don't seem to be able to manage it when the groups scatter - sometimes Batman will zip across to the nearest enemy seemingly randomly, other times he stands around like a lemon punching thin air (I'm sure I'm missing something).

Oh well, plenty of fun to be had with challenges now :D

If anyone reading hasn't played this game yet, then GO BUY IT! :D

Oh, and roll on the sequel ;)

I ended up with all but one upgrade before the final boss. Yes, I got the Batarang power up quite late, and it does then count as a combo move. I didn't really have much time to get the hang of it mid battle, I found the dodge move was more useful in a panic than the Batarang.

BTW, how on earth do people manage the Crypto tool without a 360 pad? :o

Great - can't wait!

The only problem is I'm at a loss now... The challenges are fun and all but I'm looking for something else to get my teeth into now. Shame Steam aren't doing a DAO deal.
