No wthat last one does look nice, just seen it and think i might go for it, with Win 7 and the 120GB SSD in as well.

But, would that SSD replace the 500gb one statedint eh system spec or be as well as? Also might phone and see if it would be possible to build the thing with the ASRock Extreme 7 Gen 3 motherboard, for futureproofing.

i'm very surprised that you went for the i7 2600k in the last one, seeing that it will be no faster than the i5 2500k. also slightly disappointed at the lack of window in the bitfenix case, but other than that it looks really good :)

Hi there,

The SSD would be additional to the HDD in the system, so you have the SSD and your boot.games drive and the HDD as your media storage.

We can specify the ASrock board for you, just give our sales team a call and we can sort it out for you :)

Thanks NathWrath, that was a really fast responce, and would that PSU handle SLI as well? IF i was to add another GFX card at a later date?

The system has a OCZ ZS 750w PSU as standard which can handle GTX 580 SLI easily, the system comes standard with one GTX 580 but you can specify two in SLI by using the drop down options :).

from looking at that link i would question if it can handle 2x580's in SLi, as it seems to pull 850W of power.

if the owner only plays games then they would be fine, because crysis only took 620W. that why i think they went for the 750W PSU. its the stress testers that i'm worried about, particularly OCCT because that can stress the GPU and CPU, the equivalent of running prime95 and furmark together

Hrmmm on second thoughts, looking at that link and comparing gfx cards for £30 more i could get 2x 6950's in CF and that beets a single 580 hands down, and its only like £30 more, maybe ill have to go back and re think this....... :(

As im after the best bang-for-buck that i can manage and i think 2x6950's are the way to go, certainly for the price.

you clearly havent read the link i posted. its been shown that 2x 580's when being stress tested can pull 850W+

I am sorry reaper the link you have posted really means nothing to us. We do our own in house testing and do not take 3rd party advice as gospel.

We have extensive experience in system building and system integration and if you want to question this further then feel free to email me (in trust), not in the thread.

Thankyou.

will do. as long as your customers dont remove the limiters from the card all will be good according to another of my favourite benchmarking site of mine :)

(and since i dont have access to the rig in question i cant exactly do my own testing, so 3rd party stuff will have to do)
