ARMA 2 DayZ mode *THREAD*

Not sure if this game is played by many players still, but I've started it not too long ago, and hoping if anyone else is playing it.

If so what servers? I'm on http://customcombatgaming.com/forums/index.php?/page/index.html.

Would be great to have few people to play with TeamSpeak/Skype and get in the ropes of the game!

If there are any better servers/modes etc, please do suggest.

Get Arma 3 and Breaking Point.

What's breaking point? I was more interested in the dayz mod from watching youtube vids about it. although they make it look so easy haha, I just love survival games. I'd rather wait for GTA5 than i guess get ARMA 3

It is the DayZ mod but on the Arma 3 engine.

Much much better, has quite a few custom maps as well.

But the price is around £34, which is the same as for GTA5 haha, hmm decisions, money isnt a problem. Its just that feel you get when you spend money on a game only to be left unplayed in the future because of a updated similar game lol, like its going to waste

I'm still annoyed how dayz SA was in alpha for 2 year and reached $60m in sales, should have finished it by now lol. H1Z1 looks great, but the thing about pay2win puts me off and these airdrop items.

Ignore the p2w, it is far from it. Just people getting it wrong as per normal. It was broken at the start but is now fixed. People can buy a air drop but it drops nowhere near them and everyone on the server goes for it, kind of a mini event. The person who called the airdrop can never get it, when it drops 7 zombies come out of the crate and you have to fight about 20 players lol. The drop itself comes on a plane that is very slow and very loud, it then drops for ages with green smoke coming out of it for all the see/hear.

H1Z1 is pretty amazing atm tbh, they update almost every night, if it keeps up the way it is it could be the best zombie survival game out. Now people know they can't get the air drops they never get called in anyway, not seen one for at least 5 days.

That's a game changer then...hmmm not sure now.. H1Z1 or ARMA 3...hmmm im so undecisive, i could get both..but i have so many unplayed games on steam its silly

Are you buying the russian VPN activated h1?

Hahaha, I was looking into arma 3, and its much cheaper than steam, but as for h1z1 its the same price, but the russian version woudn't work will it?

Buy both then play Arma 3 and realise that there is so much more to it than turd zombie/survival missions.

I was gifted H1Z1 one not long after release day, played it and hated it. Gave it another go last night and actually had some fun on it...until I was killed randomly by nothing while I was upstairs in a room with the door shut.

Yeah... that's what im thinking, bit hesitant to buy H1Z1 even how cheap it is, more stuff to do on arma 3, so i'll guess ill go for that. its only £27 on this site for the code, so slightly cheaper.

Is there any game chats skype/Teamspeak, to pair up with people or so?
