Yup, believe me i've trawled every forum in existence over the last couple of weeks looking for a solution and have tried every thing possible without any joy.

Weird, I am playing Arma for four months and it never crashed on my PC, versions 1.01 - 1.04.

And regarding Arrowhead, I will get it, after all it will be priced as an expansion and not full game.

yep i defo be getting the new one i love arma2 but only thing i hate is there not enough uk servers,only one i play on is berzerk server which is pretty good when u got 100 vs 100 going.i got latest patch 1.04v running fine to me.

I'm also getting it. I can't see how people complain about fps, I'm getting decent rates on my laptop with ArmaII. It is a slow paced game however, not your normal 60fps shoot-em-up like COD4. Still, my laptop runs my homemade "Generation Kill" editor missons quite well. Need to work out how to import Ray's rants and the squad's songs though...

I only ever had arma2 crash on me when my overclock was not too stable

Set 3D resolution to the same one as interface resolution.And completely disable post-process effects.Looks perfectly sharp in 1920*1200 on my case.

Turn off the postprocessing option, should reduce/remove the motion blur, which might help.

I tried turning off the post processing but it made little differece, I'll try changeing the interface resolution too when I get home, thanks for the help
