A strange request this.

Got a ditch running along side a track, wood fencing has proved useless,so need something more substantial.
I know of stockists for used Armco barrier (crash barriers) up north & Coventry, but am unable to find anyone here in the south west who stocks it, within 50miles of Bristol.

All I need is two lengths & four concrete in steel posts, trying to save myself a trip to Coventry.

Some in Caldicot (South Wales)

They might have the posts too, but I guess some RSJ and a few bolts might do.

Either that or ask some Gypos to pop down to the M5 one night.

have a look on here for Bristol companies

My dad lined a stream running through his garden with railway sleepers, still in there 20 years later. Reclaimed oak sleepers are cheap and hard wearing/tough.

Had considered sleepers, but I need a barrier about 500-700mm above the ground, basically to you reversing over the low embankment & into a ditch.

Good thing with amrco, & open box beam barriers, you can get metal supports, which you concrete in, so it's only couple hours work to hire a petrol auger with 200mm auger to dig the holes.
