Hi folks

Just picked this up in a BOGOF when i got Morrowind for £4 from [A competitor!] - traded in some ancient SNES junk.

I'll be having a blast of this tonight when getting drunk... but gotta wait here at work until 6 before i can head off home to try it.

Any hints/tips/amusing things to try - or suggestions on patches etc?

I enjoyed that game, some very unique weapons like the shark gun! Thats so much fun to use :D. The humour in the game is a bit strange though

I got my A&D game new from [somewhere] for £2.50 i think. I bet its still £2.50 ish now still. Extremily cheap game to buy from one place i know.

Thought it would have been cool but its wasnt much. Also very surprised on the install space it uses. Rather a lot if i remember. 5gigs + i think it was and it only was on 3 cd's lol.

A&D is a brilliant game - it's as fun as it is funny. But there is a massive problem sometimes. The Autorun refuses to let you play the game (something about DirectX). All you have to do is go into the Game's folders, and find the program named "Game.exe" and use that instead of the Autorun thingy. The Game.exe just fires up the game, without touching Autorun. Just dump a shortcut to that on your start menu, and you'll be fine.
Also: Prince Stig! One of the greatest characters of PC gaming ever.

Stig: Stig do experiment!
King: Right, well tell us all about it then.
Stig: Stig grind teeth into calcium dust!
King: Right. Well, stop that.

Stig: Stig always been a self-defecating person!

Torturer: Well, we replaced this one's head with a cabbage, and he hasn't said a word, and we cut off this guys tongue, and he hasn't said anything either!

i played this when it was first out and ive been recommending it constantly since, i havent laugh as much at a game since the Monkey Island games.

You can pick it for a few quid now, well worth it.

Sold my snes and all my games a few years back when I was strapped for cash one time. Regretted it ever since :(
I traded my SNES in for a PS1 back in about 1996, rebought one last year after talking about it since the millenium and have had so much fun with it and have bought all the classics and the games I used to have. It's been played on a lot more than my PS2. :)

Well.... owing to my distinct lack of a telly I didnt see much point in keeping the SNES games really

[No trading outside the MM!]

Didnt actually get to play A&D over the weekend due to driving lessons etc, and working on my marksman skillz in Oblivion - must do so tonight!!
