Armed Assault graphics issues

Hi all,

Just installed my new 8800GTS, went to play AA and.. I've got loads of weird graphical curruption. The sky, for example, flashes yellow.

Any ideas?

I dont get the corruption as such

But with mine i get a mighty 8fps!!!

Oh yea, thats a point, it was rendering the lovely yellowness at a staggering 20fps.

o/ Fox,

What card have you changed from? ati -> nvidia?
Have you done a drivercleaner run or reformat?

What Forceware drivers are you using?
Are the card temps ok?

Is AA the first game you've ran with the card or are other applications etc fine?
Can you run a 3dmark test to see if you get any graphical corruption or if it attains an expected score?

8800's are notorius for graphical problems tbh, driver support is horrible. AA is no exception, a lot of people with 8800's are having problems, should be resolved soon enough with new drivers from nvidia due out in a few weeks.

Eve runs fine.

Hey man, I had a similar problem with my GTX, except for the flashes I believe were white... if it is the same problem. Sounds like it though.

It was all fixed by me installing the latest drivers at the time, though I havn't updated to the most recent ones yet. I mean the ones released around Christmas.

Heh, mine runs fine. Only got it on 1280x1024 and full everything, but still... runs pretty well, unless I look across a whole load of transparencies.
