Anyone heard anything more about this?.

AFAIK, it was being touted for release today, but I cant find anything much about it either on the official site or any of the third party websites?.

Be patient. :p

Yeap, it is due for release today. There are still plenty of hours left in the day though...

bro got me this a few days ago for my birthday so i thought i'd try it online, not played online for about a year because i got sick of all the moaning and foul play. anyhow, all of a sudden the sun came up: one mission = five hours.

best moment: an M113 came across three T72's, we where in two full blackhawks heading to a town so we diverted, parashooted, regrouped, moved in and attacked. the AT lads let rip at about 150-200 meters and the riflemen took out any bailing crew. felt like a proper job.. ten minutes to get ready for less than ten seconds of action. a night attack as well it was and it looked really good to me as i had forget my NV goggles :o well it was my first game and i didn't expect such an epic mission, i mean it was light when we set off from base!

if you have patience, it's a very rewarding game..

(This update is for ArmA Euro version 1.04 by 505 Games only.)

PATCH ver. 1.05 INTERNATIONAL - 462MB

(This is International Update for all versions released so far 1.0, 1.01, 1.02 and 1.04)

What people views of this game as i liked operation flash point but the review on Game Central and comments of it being buggy put me off.

i just got the game today. Loving it :D been playing the SP a bit now havnt tried the mp yet if its anything like Flashpoint MP it will be v fun :D

Looks sweet so far. Finding it hard to fly planes/choppers tho :)

I got the game on Monday and patched it to 1.05 before starting the game.

This really is one of the best games I've played..I've not encountered any problems so far [about six missions in, plus quick missions and a bit of MP]...graphics are great most of the time and though the game play is tough as nails, it's always enjoyable.

If you've played Operation Flashpoint, it's a no-brainer..but if your expecting a normal FPS then think again, as it's more of a soldier sim, you can't go rushing in, guns blazing.

I finished the campaign a few days ago. It felt rushed and unfinished, yet was still the most fun I've had in a long time.

So is it worth me getting this game now it's had its first patch, and more importanyly when I only have an AMD 3200, 1Gb RAM and 6800GS graphics card?
Would I be better sticking with BF2 and one of the more realistic mods??

Has anyone found any good custom made single player missions or campaigns?
I've tried tons so far, none are perfect but they seem to release new versions every 5 minutes. I think on the AA forums there are links to map databases.

Heck, it's taking me ages to do my first one.

Still needs a tweak, it's up to you. It is very system-demanding though.
