Up here in Scotland celebrations and moments of remembrance have been happening all week all across the country in honour of the Armed Forces.
I would just like to take this moment if you can tip your glass in two separate toasts to the personal involved.
First toast to all the individuals that have lost their lives so we can keep ours.
Second toast is in congratulations to a job well done and keep up the amazing and hard work they all do.

I currently don't have any plans myself to visit any of the parades and the festival in Holyrood Park, but over the past week I've put in my hours to help make this event possible through my work. I've also had 9months of extreme worry as my brother toured Afghanistan and hold my heart out to all families that have to go through the same experience.

ITS BLOODY ACE!!

Half an hour ago two spitfires and lancaster roared over head at a few hundred feet.

Woot woot! They be loud :D

Saw the red arrows darting around above Leith last night as well.

Yeah, saw the red arrows in bits (was rushing in and out of the warehouse for last minute kit). Also saw the helicopter that's parked in Holyrood land during the day and was working on site when all the large Force Protection vehicles were driven on, such as the Mastiff 3.
Breath taken at the engineering involved in them.
