Looked worse than it was I think - appeared like he used a tumbling technique to reduce injury to himself rather than was entirely rag dolled by the vehicle.
EDIT: Though that initial slide could have ended with more serious injury if his head had contacted the curb. (Looking at the bigger version it was pretty close - looks like he took a fairly solid hit on the shoulder possibly neck trying to avoid hitting his head on the curb).
(He should have just shot first)

I assume it was the person in car he was after not he ran into a passing car while after someone else (and to Roff if so yes he should just have shot the car and driver but probably not allowed to).
Also I did not know it was older going by MSN story but on YT it is at least Oct.
Funny thing is after the fact there is overwhelming public support for should have just shot them, but if at the time he had just mag dumped the occupants the public would have been up in uh arms about it :s
Same with the tactical contact stuff for criminals using scooters and mopeds, etc.
