Army Ration Packs - Sell by date?

Just a quick one, hopefully someone will know the answer :)

I have just acquired two army ration packs from a friend, one being corned beef hash and the other chocolate pudding. Both of them have a WFL date of Jan 2004, will these still be safe to eat?

Edit: Wow, cool new edit box. Back on topic: Ghosteh what is the difference between the link you posted and these http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/ishop/877/shopscr408.html packs? They look the same to me, just a different picture.
