We'll I'm in process of building my first computer but I'm stuck.

I've come to a cable that says it's an EPS. Does this go into the EPU slot on motherboard?

If you look on asus m5a97 evo r2.0 motherboard it's the blue socket with 8 pins called epu, at side it says EATX12v, the power supply is an antech hcg520 comes with a connection called eps12v

The Antec is 2 4 pins that joins together to make an 8 pin

Ahh up by the CPU socket left hand side?

Yes connect the two to make a single 8 pin plug and plug it in,its for the CPU power

Yh sure,they only plug in one way that plug and the long 24pin motherboard plug
