I purchased a new MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card. It came with a free bundle of downloadable games worth £149.

What .... a.... nightmare

Each code requires you to install some poxy software to access the download, so that you can trade the first 'code' for the next 'code'

Uplay.... EA Origin, Steam.. the desktop will be full of makers download sites soon.

Anyway, got 3 games downloaded, and then the AMD website told me that I have reached my free download limit... when I still have 2 or 3 games left to download.

I wish they had supplied the free game codes for one website only - E.G Steam.

I just wish we could go back to the good old days of CD's.

It has taken 3 evenings to download 5 games so far. Mad.

Is it worth contacting Overclockers? One of the reasons I got this card was the free games.

Well....

Bundled with equipment we ordered....

Simcity - OK
Tombraider - OK
Dirt showdown - OK
Farcry 3 -failed (never arrived in download store)
Bioshock - unable to get - reached download redemption limit
Crysis 3 - unable to get - reached download redemption limit
Farcry 3 Blood dragon - failed (never arrived in download store)
Sleeping dogs - OK
Grid 2 - OK
Total war shogun - not tried yet

Some games are tied to one supplier though..

Mine took two minutes, all redeemed fine apart from Crysis 3 which came a day later.

Worth contacting them about what? It's nothing to do with them, they've done their part of the deal. Maybe you could play one of the 5 games until the new ones are available? ;)

Mmm.... emailed Overclockers about this and they said take it up with the gaming companies. Not very happy about that.
It was supplied with an Overclockers order... and not a small order either

I appreciate it must be very frustrating for you, but why do you haw an issue with OcUK? They have supplied all the codes as promised, and all seemed to have verified so are working codes the issue seems to be with AMD or the respective download locations, surely you'd be best placed taking things up with them? Least I know that's what is be doing.

What exactly is it you would like Overclockers to do for you?

What is the breakdown of what games came with what, you codes do not appear to all come from one graphics card purchase.

AMD don't appear to be either answering emails, or they are swamped and ignoring/way behind with them. The games in question are part of the same bundle (graphics card).
I am not bashing OC, but at the end of the day... they came as part of a deal that they supplied.
So it looks like I am going to be on the phone to AMD in Texas then. Probably not worth the grief or the cost of the phone call

Just have a bit of patience, you can't possibly need all these games right away anyway. :)

Well its not that I want them all now (actually... I do want Bioshock as I wanted to play that). Its the fact that if they don't download, then they will never download.... so I may as well fix the issues now.

Had the redemption limit reached error, changed the email address and redeemed the other codes without issues. In fact with the MSI Twin Frozr turns out I got 2 copies of Farcry 3 and 2 copies of Blood Dragon because of the extra bundles OCuk threw in :D. You get a Far Cry 3 key in the box as well.

Yep - its the email address thing (2 downloads per email address).
The code for Crysis 3 said it would arrive when its release ... but its been out for ages, so no idea what the issue there is.
Anyway... I can live for now with one failed download. Thanks all
