Ok so this morning I have done a complete fresh install of windows 7. I did this from booting from the windows 7 disk, install, custom install and deleted everything (partitions the lot). Why you may ask? Was an idiot last night and opened an attachement that contained some malware. Its been so long since Ive done a fresh install I thought no problem ill start over.

The problem I have is that ive installed windows to my SSD but my 500gb seagate harddrive is nowehere to be seen! What have I done wrong :(.

p.s looking for solutions online too but you guys have been my knights before :(.

Basically it showed as unallocated disk space in computer management. So I had to right click on the unallocated and create new volume :S. Never done it this way in the past from memory but it seems to be working fine now. Anyone else heard of this before?

Thanks very much for all the replies guys glad that it is normal and again thanks for the speedy replies. Lifesavers!
