So I returned an HP 23" 2309V because it was only VGA and non HDCP. I then ordered an LG 23" today arriving tomorrow. Since then I've found another HP 23", the 2309M, with the same spec as the LG, plus built in speakers. But the thing that is driving me mad is that I can't stop thinking about the HP2309M, it's, to my eyes, a thing of beauty. I know the LG is going to be a great monitor, but I only get excited thinking of opening the HP purely because of it's beautiful looks. Thing is, if I return the LG, it's going to cost me 10 or 15 quid in postage probably, and then the HP is also going to cost me £179 which is £15 more than the £164 LG. And I'm already over budget above 160.
Then again, perhaps £190+ isn't bad for a 23"?
So I guess I'm asking, should I just do it so that I don't keep feeling a little disappointed, and have any of you ever done that and ended up spending more money due to your mistakes, but ended up happier? It's this one I really want, even with the reported reflective gloss screen.
