This has been doing my head in for along time now and i have been in over the last couple of days and in bed so its REALLY been annoying me... Basically i get a lot of interference from my phone through my alarm clock. Its a Iphone/ipod charging dock but i generally dont use it for charging as i always have a case on it and its a pain removing the case when charging etc..

Is there anything i can do about it? Although not a light sleeper it often wakes me up. I am pretty sure i have also tried switching everything off at night except for normal data (Phone Calls and texts) but i still get interference.. Its driving me nuts.. :(

Help!

You can get some Ferrite Cores to put around the speaker wire inside the clock.

The strange thing is interference for me only happens when I'm using a GPRS signal. A 3G or Edge signal doesn't create any interference.

Happens with all phones, and always has. Ferrite cores can help, as can adding shielding. With my limited radio knowledge, I suspect that 3G does interfere just the same but the modulations are, by necessity, higher frequency and thus much less likely to be audible.
