After you;):p:D

Go and tell that to TOM who thinks we wasnt brilliant in the past

Well tbh mate i dont really care for his opinion either way so no thanks, i wont be getting involved in your little catfight. Perhaps just ignore what he says?? everyone is entitled to their opinion, whether it be wrong or right.

ITS WE WERE NOT WE WAS

Also no one said you were boring or stoke, you still didn't bang them in at all in the CL, particularly knockouts

Well my point is that we was a very entertaining side 6 years ago and more of a match for Barca

Great \o/ 6 yrs ago we were very entertaining and more of a match for Barca according to you.

Now 6 yrs on, we are neither of those. Well depending on your definition of entertaining, i suppose we are with how easily we concede goals.

That is basically point. did u not read my original post about this particular debate:)

i originally said how we was superb and very entertaining 6 years ago competing and going toe to toe with the likes or RM and barca to now becoming a side who cant even beat lower league teams.

did u miss that post?

Lets discuss something else.

What if Morinho went to arsenal? can he do better then wenger?

No i didnt:p, i just dont see the relevance in bringing up Arsenal of 6 yrs ago to Arsenal right now. Everyone can see just how bad we have become under Wenger, no point in comparing Arsenal of today to Arsenal of the past as back then we had some world class players....these days not so much.

So the question is how do we get back to those glory days??. Personally i dont know, as much as i am beginning to resent Wenger...i dont know who could come in and fix this almighty mess we are in. Our main problem at the moment is the amount of absolute crap we have in our squad and their stupidly long contracts they have. Until we find a way of getting rid of those players and replacing them with better players, we will just carry on getting worse and worse and our better players will look to go elsewhere to win trophies/titles.

One off games do not make a great side though? And you haven't been able to beat lower league teams for over 8 seasons either or you would have won something, this years results are nothing new for arsenal.

I don't think manager will make a huge difference to Arsenal personally, the whole club needs gutting from top to bottom, far too many people making money for ****.

Mourinho is a checkbook manager, and you don't have the kind of money to be turned into champions with his methods. Arsenal are in Liverpool's position essentially, we just realised it last year.

Nope i dont think he could because as someone else has said, he would want a bottomless pit of cash and i dont think Arsenal have that to give him. Plus Mourinho isnt a manager who sticks around in a job for very long, he likes to win a few trophies then move on to a bigger paycheck and more money to spend in the transfer window.

If we could get another manager in then i would have liked to see Guardiola but hes gone to Bayern now. The other manager id like to see at Arsenal would be the current Bayern manager, i like his wild eyed look for a start:p dont think any manager would want to mess with him.

Well, my 1-0 to Arsenal prediction was slightly wrong. If he doesn't get into the top 4 this season I think the fans will turn on him in a big big way.

Who cares how many goals we did or did not score in the Champions League eleventy million years ago? We're horse crap now and have been for a number of seasons. :p

They already have really. It's more an air of resignation at this point - most fans are fully aware of how far the team have fallen, but know they're stuck with it since he won't walk and the board won't push him. It's a sort of perverse exercise in self-harm watching the team - I can't think of another club atm where there are so many fans who really want the team to hit rock bottom as it seems like the only catalyst for change available. The last few years we've limped along, just about able to passably walk, but it looks like we're starting to really bleed out properly now, and once we fall we won't be standing up again for a long time.

Wenger should stay in charge as only he knows how to keep that team relatively competitive with the dross that saturates the team.

On the other hand, a director of football should be in charge of transfers and youth development.
