Name on shirt: Roman
Position: Left Midfielder
Height: 182 cm.
Weight: 79 Kg.
Birth date: 24-06-1978
City: Buenos Aires
Country: Argentina
Nationality: Argentinean

Transferred by Barcelona, this is the second year of Juan Roman Riquelme in Villarreal C.F.. Last season he was the one who lead the team to the UEFA Championship semi-finals, and this season he will probably take the reins in the offensive matters. His great vision and his free kicks are his main points.
His CV is large and includes an Intercontinental Cup (2000), two Copa Libertadores (2000, 2001), three Argentinean tournaments (Clausura 98&99 and Apertura 2000), and one Copa del Rey de America (2001), all of them held with Boca Juniors, besides a under-20 world championship and a under-20 South-American, both in 1997, with Argentinean national team.

Honours:
Copa Intercontinental 2000
2 Copas Libertadores (2000 y 2001)
2 Torneos Clausura (98 y 99)
Torneo Apertura (2000)
Copa del Rey de America 2001
Mundial sub-20 en 1997
Copa Sudamericana sub-20 en 1997
Copa Intertoto 2004
Maximo asistente de la Liga 2004-2005

Come on Arsenal!!

I'm so gutted that Senderos is injured. And I'm gutted that Sol Campbell is playing. I don't want to break a back four that is doing so well at the moment and tbh I no longer trust Campbell any more than the young swiss defender.

Hopefully Hleb will be well rested after missing this weekend and can help Henry catch them on the break!

I don't like making predictions as they often come back to bite me :(

Arsène Wenger has named a 19-man squad for the Champions League Semi Final second-leg clash with Villarreal on Tuesday - and revealed Sol Campbell will start.

Jens Lehmann
Manuel Almunia
Sol Campbell
Gael Clichy
Kolo Toure
Emmanuel Eboue
Johan Djourou
Mathieu Flamini
Freddie Ljungberg
Robert Pires
Gilberto
Alexander Hleb
Jose Antonio Reyes
Cesc Fabregas
Alexandre Song
Abou Diaby
Thierry Henry
Robin van Persie
Theo Walcott

Good to see Gael back. That little **** Cole isn't still, only a few games left for him to play in his Arsenal shirt, till he can **** off.

Yeah Cole can bugger off as far as I'm concerned, he is a little brat.

I just hope we don't regret killing this tie off at Highbury.. wouldn't be surprised to see Villarreal nick it.

Refuse to predict they will though so I am going to do for 1-1. Henry to score our goal.

And I think Barcelona and AC Milan will be 0-0.

Why is everyone hating Cole?

Gooner thinks he's a money grabbing xxxx and has a move to Chelski virtually in the bag and although I think he has the move sorted out, I'd love him to stay with us, as he's the best left back there is and although Matty has done well and Gael looks a great prospect, they're not Ash.

I think it could be a 30 ciggy match tomorrow night, the nerves are there already and I'm getting more pessimistic as time goes on. :(

I don't think he will be here next season, but I don't think he will be at that Russian club. Spain is where he will be. For someone who claims to have been an Arsenal fan from birth he has a funny way of showing it.

There is no doubt he is the best left back in the work imo, but that doesn't stop him being a ****.

Five times the first post = five times the excitement!

Keywords only: Nervous, should be good, Fat Sol hmmm, here's hoping, CL FINAL! :)

As for Cole, I've got a strange feeling he may actually still be here next season. I just don't see him going now, after all the fuss and chances he's had to already. But I guess we'll see.

I reckon it's gonna be an all Spanish final.

I hope not! Although I think Villarreal can get a result tomorrow. Milan have a few injury concerns including Sheva, Kaka and Nesta. Sheva and Kaka should feature, also Inzaghi should be back from injury too. Milan have the capability to do it. Obviously I'm biased to Milan going through but i wont be overtly disappointed if they don’t make it, they would have gone out to a fantastic side which I love to see play.
