Artefacting on pictures, but not in game

Not sure if this is the right section, but I get artefacting when viewing pics, like this:

Games (BF3, MW3 and Skyrim) are all fine.

Before I start pulling out cards and what not is this a known issue?

Umm, does the same picture suffer from similar artefacting in other programs?

Just tried a few, seems to only be Live Photo Gallery.

So you could assume then that its a software issue rather than anything to do with a hardware issue.

I'm not much use with this sort of thing, but reinstalling the program or an update may help?

Yeah I'm giving it a go now.

I've fixed it, added photo gallery into the MSI exempt list and it's gone.
