i found this browsing around and thought it looked uit interesting, and might be of interest to some fellow OCukers for the social gamers...
i had a quick look but didn't see a thread for it...

What is Artemis?

Artemis is a multiplayer, multi-computer networked game for Windows computers.

Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the "main screen", while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Engineering, and Weapon Control.

Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room ("bridge") , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle, doesn't have a workstation, and tells everyone what to do.

That video where they are simulating star trek is fantastic! Must say its a very interesting concept, might give the demo a whirl and see how it plays could see it being utterly fantastic with a full team of people!

seems like a great game for lans or clans.

now included PVP and a lot of other improvments.

it says its multiplay only but its possible to play (badly) with only one person..

if interested lets get some action goin!!

i played with engineering last night and thats quite an interesting statio to play.


android apps wont work as they are only compatable with the 1.7 release.
