artic 7 pro query

had to take my IHS of as temps were getting a bit to high,what i want to know is ive disabled the smart fan control mode so that the cpu fan is running full all the time,will that be ok as i cant here it,but was wondering if it would cause any damage,thanks for the advice

In what way?

Running the fan on full speed is not really gonna make any difference to it, as its estimated life of the fan is with it going full speed.

If you can't hear it at full speed then all the better as that is usually the main reason for people lowering the RPM of the fan to keep the noise levels down. But you then get a warmer component which might lower the life of your CPU slightly.

thats all i wanted to know,it is running full and cant here it anyway,just thought it might not be best to let it run at full speed but if ok will just leave it at that then cheers for reply
