Hi all:)

I recently bought a artic cooler freezer 64 pro cpu fan and everytime i have it connected to my computer the screen freezes it looks all pixelated the screen graphics and my computer stops responding?
Yet when i use this standard cpu fan from my 4400x2 cpu everything is fine all be it minus the overheating.
Any ideas what could be causing this please?
And if i do manage to get this fixed is there a way to control the cpu fan for this artic freezer 64 pro ?

Thanks :)

If its a new A64Freezer Pro it has a 4-pin connector (PWM controlled), are you connecting the correct 3-pins? (it has a plastic key to show you which 3 pins to use).

If you get past that stage you should be able to control the fan speed from the BIOS. On ASUS boards this feature is called 'Q-Fan' and you need to set that to 'enabled' and also set the 'CPU target temp'. If the CPU gets anywhere near the target temp then Q-Fan will increase the fans rpms to keep it cool

Good luck!
