Hi everyone,

Right at the minute ive got the retail cooler on my A64 3500+, but it makes a bit of a humming noise, now ive reduced the speed of it to see if that helps, it does quiten the hum down, but i can still hear it, and it is annoying, as it sounds like a small generator (only been like that for about a week or so funnily enough), and i can't reduce the fan speed to far as my temps will rise.

Now been thinking of a new cooler, this one here, the top one, Freezer 64 as by all accounts its quiter than the stock cooler, and doesn't run so fast, so should'nt hum (hopefully), but seen as the fan is mounted on the side, does anyone know if it would fit on the DFi Lanparty RDX200 Crossfire motherboard without the Ram being in the way, as ive read one review of it on a different board, but they had to move a stick of Ram to the next slot along as it was to tall (the Ram), so was catching the fan, but their Ram was a bit taller than normal as it had LED's on it, now ive got 2x sticks of Geil Value which should be a bit shorter as no LED's etc..., so does anyone know if it would fit ok on this board without the Ram getting in the way ?

Thanks. :)

Not 100% sure on this but I heard you can rotate the freezer 64's fan through 90 degrees depending on how you want it mounted.

That would be ideal that, anyone else heard the same.

Thanks. :)

EDIT: Yup just read another review, says you can rotate the clips through 90 degrees by a simple screw, so that you can mount the fan so that it is blowing towards the rear exhause fan. :)

That'll do me. :D
