Hi, I am currently using the stock thermal paste that came with the cooler, but due to lots of resitting (trying to get used to the bracket system) I think I need to reapply the thermal paste. What would you recommend?

Also I have noticed the plate that makes contact with the cpu is smaller than the surface area of the cpu itself, is that typical of this cooler?

Also it is reaching 52oC at full load, 3000+ overclocked to 2.7ghz, 1.45v's, is that a good temp for this cooler?

Thanks for your help :D

Sounds fine to me.

Temps aren't just dependent on the efficiancy of your your HSF but also on how well your case+fans dissipate the heat inside the case.

If you reseat the HSF make sure you have an even, thin layer of TIM on the cpu before you fit it.

thanks for the reply, after applying some of my friends thermal paste and resitting the cpu idle temps are down by a few oC :)
