Just finished putting together my new AM5 build and everything is working perfectly except the freezer iii pump heatsink lighting.

I swapped the original argb rad fans to non argb p12 max as I wanted a bit more cooling power, I blanked off the argb connector that these fans would daisy chain into at the front of the radiator and then just connected the argb connector that comes from the pump to my 5v argb board header and nothing.

As I’m using the LIAN li LANCOOL 3 argb case it also has its own argb controller for the cases sync buttons and 3 more connectors to add more argb fans into that but when I try connecting the freezer iii argb connector it doesnt work and even results in the lighting switching off for 2 of the 3 front fans.

Any ideas guys?

Ok just an update in case anyone else runs into this issue, it turned out to be a microscopic piece of plastic film stuck on the tip of the 5v pin of the pump block which was preventing the the VRM fans ARGB pad from making contact.

All up and running now

@Joxeon Well solved you're own problem. nice!

Hero mobo and a 4090..guessingt a 9800x3d under the hood? Is that fan to throw air onto the ram? standard on a lancool 3..can't seem to remember seeing that..if not, have you had to cut a piece out the side of the case?
I was starting to think I was either going mad or it would be an RMA jobbie on the AIO as I’d tested everything and couldn’t see what else it could be, I seen a post in Reddit where some guy was saying his 5v pin had snapped so I thought I’d take another look to make sure it wasn't bent and when I shinned a light on it illuminated tiniest piece of plastic on the tip of the pin.

The fan bracket is not standard, its just a right angle I bought from china for a couple of quid, it easily fixes to the aio so not chop shop required.
