Artic Freezer to a Scythe Ninja?

I've been fairly dissapointed with the temps i have been getting from my arctic freezer and with all the great things i've read about the scythe ninja i was wondering if it was worth upgrading?

My temps are currently just under 40c idle and up to 51c full load!

I've got some spare 120mm fans lying around so hands up if you think its worth doing as im hovering over that "buy" button...

the size doesnt bother me (as long it fits!) im more concerned about the price... i dont really have the money to waste but i've been diagnosed as a binge spender so cant help myself really

Another question... as im also going for quietness would it be a good idea to turn the rear case fan around and have it blow at a fanless ninja? or would this ruin airflow through the case?

I have the 64 pro and im not quite sure why my temps arnt as good as many others here really. I thought i'd fluffed up the first installation so i re seated it with some as5 which helped by 1 or 2 degrees which still isnt great

I dont think im getting enough airflow through the case tbh, case temps are between 30-40c, is that ok?

Hey Benny,

Yeah i think that is the main problem. I have 2 120mm akasa ambers blowing full pelt at the front and rear but i also have 3 hdds which seriously blocks the intake on my lanboy. It doesnt help that my 7800 blows air the wrong way either!

So many things i want and so little money I've been hovering over the "complete checkout" button for a PC-7 and a few other bits for the last couple of days now... dont think i'll be able to resist much longer.
