Hi im looking for a case for my new build which includes the artic liquid freezer II 280 and i'm wondering what owners of this cooler use or recommend.

Ideally i dont really want to spend anymore than about £150.

Thanks.

I've got a Bitfenix Enso Mesh running the 280. It's very tight & the mounting holes don't quite line up so it's cable tied in place but it's in there :)

Yeah its something you want to pay attention to while the reviews mention how good the performance is and they're not wrong, what they fail to mention is the size of the rad and the fans - the fans are 140mm not the usual 120mm case fans and the rad is thick, at least an inch and a half and its even longer than the two fans combined. For instance my older corsair 600T case fits their H100 cooler top mounted but the Arctic is much too large. The 14cm mounting points can be a problem as most cases are set up for the more standard 12. Like the guy above I had to cable tie it in place as well as remove the drive caddies as front mounting was the only place left to fit it.

That being said I've heard the Fractal Design Define Nano S fits this cooler front mounted I havn't tried it myself though. Also the Fractal Meshify 2 looks like it'll fit and likely to be my next case as it looks good as well. Be careful with what you buy though as there are Meshify 2 (the latest) and the older S2 which doesn't perform as well - and thats the one you're most like to find at retailers including this one. Meshify 2 is basically a revised version of the Define 7.

Interested in the same cooler for my new 5600x and need a new case.
Looking at a mid tower with no window or RGB

Hi i decided to go for the Asus tuf gt501 in the end, i liked the look of it, seems well built and reasonably priced plus the decription says its got reserved space for large radiators for both front and top mounting so it should do me good.

Thanks for the suggestions.
