artic silver and quad

rig should be here tomorrow. just wanted to ask how many of you follow the as5 instructions on how 2 apply as5 to quad. you know that thin horizontal line then you put your heatsink on and twist it left right 1 degree. how many of you do that?

it says you dnt need 2 cover the cpu heat sink corner to corner in paste it says it more important to put it over the cores. well if you put it corner to corner that would be over the cores to?

i just need 2 know the best way because i dnt wanna be taking my water block on and off..

Just follow the instructions on the site. They are there for a reason

Worked great for me. I was a little dubious to start, but I guess the suppliers have done plenty of testing and it works a treat.

I think I am going to go back to Ceramique though, as IMHO it's a better performer.
