Artic Silver question

Bit of a noob question here, but what do i need to add to the Artic silver to stop it turning into concrete?

I thought you needed to mix something with it, unless you never plan on removing the HSF.

thats if you bought Arctic epoxy.


Glue/thermal compound
mix 50/50 with arctic silver 5

Arctic Silver Thermal Epoxy (7g) (OA-001-AC)


Thermal compound, no mix required

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound (3.5g) (AC-000-AC)

i think you are confusing arctic silver, with the completely different arctic epoxy adhesive (which is supplied in 2 syringes like araldite)
the normal stuff never sets

the arctic silver is for cpus
the epoxy is not for cpus but is for permanently attaching heatsinks to chipsets, ram chips etc-just bought some as it happens
