Artifacting when typing on forum - problem?

When I type on here I sort of get a double cursor (or it appears 'doubled' as it takes a second to disappear) and sometimes the cursor's red, rather than black.

Any ideas as to what's wrong please? Sorry if the description isn't great, difficult to describe.

Is this only a problem on the forum?

Which browser? Have you tried a different one?

Right, browser swap, and the problem has not occurred so far.

Originally using Firefox, seems fine on Chrome.

Maybe just check its up to date and no funny add ons are causing the issue?
