Artifacting?

Hi there
I have a 7900GTO and get artifacting in some games (BF2142 especially) but none in other games (test drive unlimited).
I would have thought if it was a hardware problem i would get it in all games? is this the case? if not is there any setting i can turn off that can cause this (AA, AF)?
I have read that these cards are prone to artifacting but cant see why so bad in some games and nothing in another?

have you tried changing drivers, maybe rolling back?

i have tried 3 different driver versions and all seem to behave the same

But i would suggest doing what you suggested and see if that changes anything:
Turn off AA and any other options so you have lowest possible settings and see what happens!
