Seen quite a few people posting problems with the newer cards over the last couple of weeks and was wondering what it actually is ? And is it noticeable ? Would hate to realise that I have it but haven't noticed ...

Artifacting ?

You would notice it. Artifacting is simply a number of graphical errors or glitches produced, usually in rapid succesion.
