Artifacts/crashing in 3dm06

Decided to try 3dmark06 earlier, 8800gts512 @795/1095/2039. Completed the first graphics card test fine, but got artifacts then crash on the second. The card is normally run at stock speed, and has been stable on this same overclock before for other bench runs, temps @Idle are 40'c, fan at 60%. Could this be an overheating issue?

Hard to say.

Try monitoring temps in GPUZ while running ATI Tool cube or something.

Could also try ATITool for artifact monitoring.

Thanks jimbo, i clocked the card using gainwards expert tool (its a gainward gts 512) im geting rid of it shortly, but i wanted to try a 3dm06 run to try and beat my best of 16975, that was with my q6600 at 3.6ghz, now at 3.8ghz and wanted that wee bit more before i hopefully move to a new nvidia card. Might take the card out and strip it down and give it a good clean as well
