Hello can artifacts on gpu be caused by using far too much thermal paste???

didnt think so no overclock or voltages messed with etc either

That's why I'm askin as I've noticed the origina stuff had went a over the tiny wee capacitors surrounding the gpu die and its impossible to remove the stuff as its went quite hard. Gpu works fine until u either game or bench then 3 or 4 mins in, usually 16/18 on valley, artifacts like mad which made me think it was overheating although gpu temp is at 31c

How can the gpu temp be at 31c during a heavily loaded benchmark? Are you using water-cooling - even then that would be a seriously impressive temp!

yeah water cooling, remember i can only get 3 or 4 mins into the bench before it crashed, shall get siome pics up in a min for ya
