Had our Tesco one for 4 years, it was under £50 and still going strong

. Though it hasn't been subjected to pet abuse i must admit...

My missus bought us a new artificial one from her work this year, it looks really nice.

£85 from Next, and probably the same again on decorations. At least she gets staff discount. And no it's not slanted.

The problem is people buy their trees too early. So by the time Christmas comes around they're falling to pieces.

We've had our John Lewis one for the same time but it was wee bit more expensive than yours.

and I can see it lasting for years.

There are 7ft ones at Argos for £29 & lights are currently half price (I think) .

Got our tree from B&Q (7ft) for £35 & decorations from Homebase for £20.

FDR moved thanksgiving a week early so shops could start the xmas season sooner lol.

I sometimes wish we adopted thanksgiving just so the morons would be lambasted for putting up xmas decorations in the middle of November. Would also be nice to have an extra day or two off in the time between august and xmas.
