Has anyone got any experience of laying artificial grass over concrete ? I'm looking to cover around half of our back yard for the kids.

Was thinking of laying a thick underlay first, we don't have any issues with standing water, would drainage be an issue ?

Laying it on concrete is easy enough you just need strong adhesive to hold it in place.

It will be a hard surface though for the kids so diving around maybe get sore after a while so may be a layer of sand underneath just before but not necessary. The sand will help get rid of a little bit of any surface water as it will soak through your grass and underlay.

The sand will make it a little difficult to use adhesive all the way through and maybe sealing it just around the edges would have to be done.

I highly recommend the grass as it looks good all the time and easy to maintain.

Great thanks, so sand, underlay and then grass and just seal the edges. Will do some measuring up.
