My wife wants to put up something to obscure vision into the living room/front of the house from people walking by.

I have a 2 foot tall brick wall at the front but that's it. I was thinking a 6 or 7 foot tall, 4 metre wide/long shrub or hedge just behind the brick wall would be the best thing to do?

I have absolutely no clue when it comes to this and talking to justartificial.co.uk is as if I asked them to build a bridge from Portsmouth to Brazil. Suffice to say, the conversation was of no assistance whatsoever.

A. Where do I find such a product
B. How would one typically install it? (dig a foot out of the soil, pop it in and put the soil back on top?
C. Is this the appropriate solution?

You should be able to fix them to the top of the wall.

those aren't going to work. They're hedge panels (they're 4cm wide and are meant to be stapled/attached to an existing tall wall, frame or fence).

I need a tall, sturdy, standalone hedge that's 3-4metres wide which I can either put directly ontop of the soil and gravel without falling over or bury 1 or 2 feet into the soil. I imagine.

Ah fair enough, apologies.

If the latter isn't available, could you attached a trellis to the wall and then attach the ones I linked to it?

Stick something interesting on the windowsill, people will then look at that rather than the interior.

Europeans don't have net curtains, they are proud of their houses and don't mind people looking in. This is the better attitude I think.

Artificial hedges - stupidest thing I've ever seen... does it come with stone cladding and a box of gnomes?
