Has anyone used Artizen before? On the face of it, it looks quite a useful program for manipulating RAW/HDR images and will also do the merging of multiple exposures much as Photomatix does. It's about half the price too!

I did a couple of merges and the results look good to me.

The demo does have some strange behaviour that I don't understand. Doesn't work on XP64 either and I have had one or two crashes. Photomatix (demo version) whilst being more limited in functionality is rock steady.

Any opinions?

Any chance you can post some examples? I had at look at their gallery and I wasn't too impressed really.

I might download the trial later on and see what it's like though :)

I know what you mean about the examples on their web site. Especially that picture with the ducks on some grass which just looks overdone to me. Mind you, that may not be the programs fault and more to do with the user. There is nothing on the gallery page which impresses I admit.

I don't have an easy way of posting examples I'm afraid.

The demo version opens a web browser page/tab to their web site every time you open/save an image which is quite annoying!

I need to sit down and play a bit more to see how it really performs. The price is only about £26 at current rates though so perhaps I shouldn't expect too much.
