Had biology today, not hard to be honest, but the AQA course is pretty crap.

How many exams do you guys have? I've got 12

Total: 6, how come you have 12? Further maths + Another A level?

I've already done Maths AS (got an A woo ) Doing 1 maths A2 module, 3 further maths AS modules, 2 chem, 2 physics, 2 bio and 2 critical thinking

I honestly cannot do it.

I'm doing that next year. Apparently it's just the SUVAT equations + a bit. I've done SUVAT for Physics GCSE and also for AS so I hope I'm okay

Yep. AQA

I don't really see the point in doing As modules in year 11, you don't really have enough lesson time to cover it all and what do you do for year 13? Do you just finish at the end of year 12?

I did C1 early. I imagine that if you plan on doing further maths, then doing modules early really helps

So the general consensus seems to be, do not take Further Maths as it is very hard. Yeah?

No. I'd say don't do further maths because it just sucks the life out of maths. If you have the opportunity to do a few modules early, then further maths isn't too bad
Otherwise forget it.

Although, having said that it's hard, I found the AS level FP1 very straightforward

I HATE FP1. I just cannot do it, exam is on Friday

Well i've found C1 and D1 rather hard, i know i could do well in them if i tried harder but meh, we haven't spent that much time on them and we've had less lessons within that time than we would normally have so you know... still, i think i'll pass on further.

I haven't done much D1. I'm supposed to have self taught it. All I've done is read the text book once, it shouldn't be too hard

I found C1 and C2 pretty easy to be honest.

I'm so angry right now. Coursework always seems to bite me in the arse.

Found out today that I have 49/60 in my chemistry coursework. That's a B grade

Absolutely fuming, now I need to smash both exams to get an A, which I probably won't do cos I'm struggling

Don't worry, people in my class got a B or C in their chem practicals but still got an A.

What course is this? I'm doing OCR salters where coursework practicals are 25% of the total grade

Nah CCEA.

It should be a C probably, unless the board feel generous and make the grade boundaries low.

I need an A though, cos I want to do medicine

FP1 today wasn't too bad. It was a pretty difficult paper, but went better than I expected. I'm doing MEI

Physics tomorrow. By far the most difficult subject. Yet I'm comforted in the fact that in the last two years it's been between 36 and 40 out of 60 for an A

I have just finished my AQA AS Business studied unit 2 exam - I walked out with a smile on my face after that exam

Physics was difficult for me, but apparently it was an easy paper. I didn't even finish
