Hey guys, I have loads of AS5 and loads of MX4 around (both almost new).

Which do you recommend I use when I replace the stock Antec TIM on my Kuhler?

From what I have read, AS5 performs slightly better than MX4, but that is just after a fresh application. I don't know how each changes with time, how well either spreads in comparison to one-another etcetera.

Cheers :)

Keep the pre-applied paste on the Antec Kuhler. Asetek normally opt for shin-etsu thermal paste which is superior to both alternatives you suggested.

If you were re-seating the cooler and had to reapply thermal paste, Thermalright Chillfactor III is superior to the MX-4 and AS5.

+1, as for thermal paste, everybody has their favorite one, l use MX4 as long as it is a good one, but its always handy to have a tube of TIM in case you have to remont your Heatsink or even your GPU Heatsink. :)

Does a fraction of a degree matter? if so, Helios is the guy to listen to. If not, go with the far cheaper arctic ceramique.
