Asda direct?

So I ordered a ps4 with next day delivery yesterday at lunch time. My mate ordered one at 5.45pm. His had been delivered mine hasn't yet been dispatched. Wtf. Should I be concerned? If it hasn't been delivered by my lunch here at work then I'm giving them a ring. Anyone had any experience with asda direct delivery service?

I paid with an American express card I hope that hasn't caused any issues...

Why would they send my mates before dispatching mine if I ordered many hours before him?

Yeah I'm going to on my lunch break. But before lunch I'm going to go over every pessimistic possibility in a paranoid way in my head while simultaneously plotting how to destroy asda should they fail to deliver.

Hmmm. So far I've not been able to come up with a plot to destroy asda without ending up with a criminal record. I should probably do some work now...

Still not dispatched. Apparently I have to wait until 7 before they can do anything about it though. Damn annoying. They should just admit they've mucked up and it will be late so I can cancel the order and buy it from a real shop this evening. Such a pain. Unless it's delivered today I'm canceling the order.

Asda was the best offer and online only. I've since cancelled that and reserved one in argos. It's a tenner more but I'll at least have it for tonight. Asda can go **** themselves.

Funny how all the sales reps assured me that I should wait until 7, as soon as I ask to cancel I get put through to a brit and he says it's fairly obvious it won't be coming today.

When they asked if there was anything else they could do for me I said they should review my phone calls to hear two reps say I can expect delivery today. Hopefully they do something about that.

The most annoying thing is that my mate has had his delivered even though he ordered after me. What on earth is that about, eh?
