ASDA PS4 & Xbox One Stock

Picked up a second PS4 for family just before 6am in Stevenage ASDA, they had 10+ in stock of both PS4 and XB1. Had no issue selling it to me, but security didnt think they was selling them yet.:D

Picked up 2nd ps4 today, by the time I got there 16 ps4 were already sold but not a single Xbox one was sold yet.I think price will be a major deciding factor for casual gamer and parents.

Yeh seems to be a similar story in the US. PS4 sells out within a couple of hours, XB1 lasts a few days. Price will be a big factor in this

What's funny? Did you expect me to have exact shipments and recorded sales from individual stores or something?

Well we do, they are selling about the same and just meeting initial demand, no matter where it is.

Neokack forum frankly is an embarrassment and all its "sources" are jokes.
The sheer amount of stuff they got wrong with the XO rumours is shocking.

Well all we have to go on is numbers that people are getting from asking at stores etc which is what's in that thread.

The original comment by someone was that that the store had no PS4s left and had some XB1s in stock, which is what people are seeing in the US as well.

It's mainly due to a mixture of reasons such as PS4 being out in way more countries so the supply is spread more thinly and the fact that the demand for it is slightly higher.

The difference isn't enough to have an impact on the NPD though for example, as both consoles will sell out what is available at the moment, demand for both is higher than what is being shipped. This will probably last until Feb/March

Exactly, so who has what in store isn't a measurement of any kind or who is buying them for any reasons.
