ASDL phone connection

Hi,
Juyst a quick question,
I cant connect to the internet at home, my modem/hub the green light where it says the phoneline connection is on is not lit up, and the modem just keeps cycling through to try to set up.
Trying to work out if i need a new modem or if its the asdl line.
If i can make a phone call normally should i assume that the ASDL line is still up and working?

er no. :)

and you'll need to provide a little more background. what's going on? new isp? new connection? or old connection? migration? who's your isp? still on a normal bt phoneline?
 
right,
Same connection as always just stopped working wednesday night, nothing has changed. With Tiscali (yeah i know). The connection has been dodgy at times but only every now and again and no real reason for it, just put it down to tiscali been poor. and it normally fixes its self.
My modem is a belkin wierless one, but have it wired to my main pc and wireless for the laptop.
When ther power is on to the modem now the lights just continually circle through ( it normally just does this once when you turn it on as it sets up) and there is no like on at the telephone input and the web light.

Have you got another modem you could test it with? Tried the router at the master socket with no extensions?
