See the new Invicta wheel released today! up too £2000 for just a wheel is insane to me, but I guess it all depends how deep your pockets are I suppose.

I can't see many of these being sold and begs the question why did they bother?
 
You could ask the same of many expensive “toys”. Value is always determined by the buyer.

Let me put it another way, cars tends to lose around 50% of their value every 3 years. Buying a brand new 40k car will lose around £20k, whilst buying the 3 year old version around £10k. Sure, you avoid MOT and you’ll have a warranty, but £10k more for a shiny version?
